Chinese web search company Baidu will share some of its advertising revenue with Apple as a part of the deal to be featured in iOS, according to Baidu VP Wang Jing. While Baidu will only be another option for iOS search in China -- Google will remain the default -- Baidu currently handles 80 percent of Chinese web searches, and Wang says that the company is willing to cope with expenses in order to get smartphone users, for instance by offering free services like music streaming.
Wang is refusing to discuss the exact terms of the deal, and Apple has yet to comment. Mirae Asset Securities analyst Eric Wen notes, though, that a growing number of people in China are going online via smartphones instead of computers, making the mobile realm critical to firms like Baidu. Wang also says that his company has signed similar agreements with companies making Android phones.
Baidu will become available in China with the advent of iOS 6, which should launch sometime this fall. Better support for China is one of the smaller tentpoles of the new OS; the firmware will also have expanded handwriting recognition, Siri support for Cantonese and Mandarin, and integration with local video sites Youku and Tudou.

Atlanta is Home of the Braves and ?the headquarters of the Coca Cola Company, Turner Broadcasting, The Home Depot, UPS, and Delta Airlines, to name a few. Atlanta is also known for being?the center of black wealth and also for its importance in the Civil Rights Movement.
Is Atlanta on the verge of being pinned the next new fashion capital??
The Atlanta fashion scene has been simmering beneath the hype of many other popular cities, like New York; but with the rise of many new fashion moguls, that silent simmer will very soon be a thunderous burst of pure surfacing talent.
What is also unique about Atlanta is the amount of talented and fashionable youth. The business of fashion no longer only applies solely to those of the older generations. The younger generation here has started to make their mark, not only as fashion designers, but ones with a knack for entrepreneurship.
Most recently, the website launch of The Gentleman's Table showcased its talents to the world. In 2011, LaDavion Smith, Sage Guillory and Justin McIntyre started a fashion blog and clothing line that embodied their own daily inspirations, style and outlook on?fashion. The name, The Gentleman's Table, essentially "comes from their own distinguished?manner and their desire to encourage every man world wide to be a gentleman," says 19-year-old McIntyre. Their style slogan is, "A gentleman is one that lets his style and personality reflect his character."
Popular cities such as New york, Miami, and Philadelphia, to name a few, have been major avenues for fashion. Young fashion designers of these major cities, i.e; Street Etiquette of Bronx, New York and Kings Rule Together (K.R.T) of Philadelphia, have paved an inspirational road for young Atlanta-based designers to thrive.?
The city of Atlanta will very soon be amongst the list of fashion capitals. Business and entrepreneurship knows no age and neither does talent.

WASHINGTON (AP) ? Metallica has recorded a public service video as part of a law enforcement publicity blitz to try to catch a man wanted in the death of a Virginia Tech student who disappeared after leaving one of the heavy metal band's concerts.
Composite sketches of the suspect will be featured at bus shelters and on digital billboards up and down the East Coast, and a video on the Internet from lead singer James Hetfield urges people to come forward with tips and to contact police if they think they recognize the man. The FBI and Virginia State Police announced the campaign on Wednesday.
"Remember, any information ? no matter how small you might think it is ? could be that crucial piece investigators need to help solve the case," Hetfield says in the video, which appears on YouTube and an FBI website dedicated to the case.
Morgan Harrington, a 20-year-old aspiring teacher and Virginia Tech student, disappeared while attending an October 2009 concert in Charlottesville, Va. Her skeletal remains were discovered about three months later in a remote hay field about 10 miles from the concert venue.
Police have said Harrington became separated from friends after she left the concert early and was denied re-entry to the arena. She was last seen hitchhiking that night. Her T-shirt was found outside an apartment building near the Charlottesville auditorium, but a camera and a crystal necklace she had with her were missing.
The FBI says the suspect has also been linked through DNA to a September 2005 sexual assault in Fairfax City, Va., where a woman walking home from a grocery story reported being grabbed from behind, dragged behind a maintenance shed and attacked. Authorities this month released an enhanced composite sketch based on a description from the sexual assault victim.
"We don't know who he is so we don't know where he is," said Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller.
Harrington's mother, Gil Harrington, said she and her husband, Dan, are hopeful the new publicity effort will lead to an arrest.
"Our big motivation now is to catch this man and help save the next girl because he is a predator at the top of his game," Gil Harrington said, adding, "I have urgency as time goes on as to where he's going to strike next."
The Jefferson Area Crime Stoppers is offering $100,000 for any information leading to an arrest, and Metallica has put up a $50,000 reward.
Gil Harrington said it was an "abomination" to suffer through the murder of a child, and that the band has been supportive from the outset.
"The band reacted to that right away. It was a matter of days before James Hetfield was on the phone to Dan saying, 'As a father, I am outraged,'" she said.
The FBI campaign, which also includes podcasts, social media outreach and an online photo gallery, is similar to ones that have led to the arrests of former Boston mob boss James "Whitey" Bulger, and of Aaron Thomas, who is suspected in a series of sexual assaults along the East Coast.

Scientists at the Georgia Institute of Technology achieved a 17-percent increase in boiling efficiency by using an acoustic field to enhance heat transfer. The acoustic field does this by efficiently removing vapor bubbles from the heated surface and suppressing the formation of an insulating vapor film. As reported in the American Institute of Physics' (AIP) journal the Physics of Fluids, bubble removal was enhanced because the acoustic field induces capillary waves on the bubble, causing its contact line to contract and detach the bubble from the surface. The mechanisms associated with these interactions were explored using three acoustic experiments: an air bubble on the underside of a horizontal surface, a single vapor bubble on the top side of a horizontal heated surface, and pool boiling from a horizontal heated surface. The researchers were able to isolate and identify the dominant forces involved in these acoustically forced motions by measuring the capillary waves induced on the bubbles, bubble motion, and heat transfer during boiling.
